What You’ll Be Doing:
Under direction of Assistant General Counsel, performing non-routine administrative tasks by acting as a liaison for BWC's Legal Division Assistant General Counsel (AGC).

Skill in operation of dictation &/or transcription equipment; typewriter &/or personal computer; BWC software (e.g. Microsoft Office products).
Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in somewhat unfamiliar context; write routine business letters, valuations & records; interpret variety of instructions in written, oral, picture or schedule form; complete routine forms; maintain accurate records; prepare accurate, meaningful & concise reports; add, subtract, multiply & divide whole numbers; calculate fractions, decimals & percentages; gather, collate & classify information about data, people, or things; perform manual functions; assess questions & provide appropriate information or referral; handle sensitive inquiries from & contact with officials & general public.

Salary Information:
Hourly wage is expected to be paid at step 1 of the pay range associated with the position for candidates who are new employees of the state. Current employees of the state will be placed in the appropriate step based on any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code. There may also be possible cost of living adjustments (COLA) and longevity supplements begin after five (5) years of state service.

Position may require travel; therefore, persons occupying this position must be able to provide own transportation &/or legally operate a state-owned vehicle.
Educational Transcripts:
For any educational achievements to be considered during the screening process, you must at least attach an unofficial transcript that details the coursework you have completed.
